“You are not going to watch him disrespect you in that manner and walk away just like that are you?” Sarah said few seconds after Jason made his way upwards with the eyes following him, but her husband had no response to give. “Philip? Can’t you hear me?” “Don’t worry babe, I will handle this.” “But he just walked out on you.” Sarah said insistently pointing at Jason who was almost out of sight. “I said I will handle it.” Philip said in a little harsh tone to his wife, making her to groan in frustration. Jason walked right to the apartment he shared with his wife and widened the door to the room which was halfway open. There on the bed was Isabella snoring away in her sleep under the influence of alcohol. The entire room reeked of the stench of whiskey and vodka. “Henry?” Jason whispered as he hurriedly moved over to the cradle at the corner of the room only to discover that his son was not there. “Where could he be?” He thought to himself, then he gently moved over

“What the hell do you mean by that?” “Yes! You heard her, where is Henry?” Jason was furious and confused at the same time. He was looking for his son, only for his ex-wife to accuse him of knowing his whereabout. He clutched his fists and suppressed the anger he felt inside, then he exhaled almost all the air he had inhaled and said calmly. “You drink yourself to a stupor and sleep off leaving our son unattended and now you accuse me of being aware of his location. What kind of mother are you?” “I.I” Isabella wanted to lash out at Jason, but the guilt had crept into her mind couldn't let her finish her statement. She gnashed her teeth at him and growled. “Clearly you have nothing to say. How the hell do you call yourself a mother?” Jason turned immediately and left for Isabella’s apartment, leaving the two ladies speechless. He pushed the door, forcing it open, and walked to the corner where the cradle was kept and searched everywhere for his son. “Henry? Henry!” He

Just a look at Jason’s face was enough to tell that he was furious, but the people he was talking to called him a bluff. “It is so funny that you still have the guts to talk Jason, you will have to explain how my son disappeared from his crib.” Jason turned to Isabella just after she had spoken, then he scoffed and smiled at her. “You really don’t want to go this route I promise you.” “Hmm,” Isabella mumbled, rolling her eyes at Jason. “Own it up, man, you know where your son is, you just want to take away her son from her. This is you going against the Divorce Decree.” “And how did you know about that Chloe?” Jason asked with his eyes glaring at Chloe who bent her face almost immediately in order to avoid his eyes. “That doesn’t matter. You have kidnapped that child, and you must provide him.” Sara said almost immediately. Jason turned to Sandra, then he turned to Isabella who stamped her feet on the floor severally with a feigned annoyance. “There are surveillance

Jason scoffed as soon as he heard the words that Morgan said, as though he already knew what the outcome of the call was going to be. He turned to look at the faces of the members of the Palmer family and noticed that they were hopefully confident that Morgan was going to save the day. “Yes, good day to you too. This is Morgan Palmer.” Morgan continued with an unfamiliar tone as though he wasn’t aware that the Chief of Police’s daughter was married to his son. “Mr Vin? Why am I getting the information that you arrested my sons, including your daughter?” Morgan listened to the explanation that the chief of Police was giving from the other end of the line, but he wasn’t happy about it. “Is that enough for you to arrest them? I can’t believe that you would even think of doing such, after everything my father did for you. Do I need to remind you that we supported you to get to that position?” Morgan reminded Mr. Vin with a hoarse tone. The Chief of Police continued to give som

“Wh…Wh.” Isabella stuttered. “Yes, what’s inside this room?” “That is none of your business, Jason, leave this place.” Chloe’s voice resounded from the background. Jason was quiet, and then he looked at the people who had obviously connived against him. “I want to know what is inside the room.” “Who do you think you are to make such a demand?” “Well, if there is nothing suspicious inside the room, don’t you think I can as well look at it, Philip?” “Nonsense! You have no right to make such a demand.” Philip barked angrily at Jason who chuckled indignantly at the situation at hand. “You should get going, Jason, I think working hours are over,” Sarah said with her eyes rolling at Jason in disdain. Jason was quiet, he looked at Sarah and then changed his gaze to his ex-wife who did everything she could to avoid maintaining a long eye contact with him. He sighed, and then gradually he lifted the pacifier in such a way that everyone could see it. “This is not a coincid

Jacob stormed into the hallway and moved toward Jason with so much rage, that he attempted to strangle Jason, but he stood his ground and didn't even flinch. “Babe!” Chloe said and rushed to her husband, giving him a tight embrace with so much excitement written all over her. Sarah was not left out as well, she rushed to Jacob and started to look all over his body, to be sure that he was truly ok. “Did they hurt you? Where is Andrew?” She asked at the same time, but Jacob’s attention was all pointed at Jason who had a smirk on his face. “Welcome Jacob, you look…good,” Jason said after he had taken a short look at Jacob. “You think this is funny.” Jacob snarled in deep anger, but Jason ignored his reaction. “Where is Andrew?” Sarah asked looking behind to see if she was going to see her brother. “Andrew is home too,” Jacob announced with a low but angry tone. “Why is he still here by this time? Why did you allow him to remain here?” Jacob asked, turning her gaze to Isab

“What the hell are you talking about Jason? I can’t heat anything.” Isabella retorted with a smirk on her face, the feeling of guilt pricked her entire conscience. Offended by her words, Jason clenched his fists and breathed fury. “Are you trying to insinuate that I am crazy? Do I look like a child?” “Maybe,” Sarah said with a mocking expression. “No one heard anything except you Jason, I suggest you go check yourself in the hospital, that’s if you can afford the bills.” “Don’t worry dear, I will help him, I think I can spare a few dollars for his sake, even though he clearly doesn't deserve it,” Philip said in response to Isabella’s utterance. Jason ignored them and listened again, placing his left ear closer to the door as the sound he heard suddenly disappeared. “Did you hear anything?” Isabella questioned, her confidence rising all of a sudden. “It is very obvious that he didn’t hear anything Bella, can’t you see the way he is looking so confused.” Sarah retorted

“Henry!” He said aloud, as soon as he swung the door open, and saw the toddler on the bed crying, he had just woken up from sleep and was so frightened when he saw himself alone in an empty room with only a bed and a long table. Jason quickly moved to the bed and grabbed him, patting his bed gently while he rested him on his right shoulder. “I am so sorry son, so sorry you have to pass through this,” Jason said, still caressing his back gently with his right hand. The baby cooed in relief when he rested on his father’s shoulders, and gradually, the little teats in his eyes started to dry out. Morgan was the second person to walk into the room, and when he saw Jason carrying Henry, he turned to look at his family members who bent their heads in shame. “This is despicable,” he said softly to the hearing of everyone around. He looked at his sister with glances of disproval and disappointment at her action. When he was certain that his son was calm, and after checking to see i

Xavier gasped as soon as he heard the words that crashed his hope. He knew that Baron was brutal and dishonest, but he was also greedy. He had thought that he was going to let him go for the right amount, but it was obvious that there was more to it. “Why? Why the sudden change of mind, Baron? I am willing to give you any amount you desire, all you have to do is mention it.” Jason said calmly, trying as much as he could not to react. “I have changed my mind, Mr. Walker. I just realized that the boy is very valuable to me, and I can’t let him go just like that. You will have to tell his mother that you failed to bring him back. Trust me, this isn’t personal.” Baron lied with a smirk on his face, but Jason already knew that his words were false. “Your eyes say something else, Baron. This isn’t about the boy, is it?” Jason sighed, struggling to discard the frown on his face, but it was there to stay with no intention of leaving. “I don’t know what you are talking about, Mr. Walke

Jason could tell that the old man’s smile was fake, but he had to maintain a smile as well, eager to do what had brought him to the place. He looked around while marching slowly toward Baron with Harry and Ramon beside him. “I am sorry for coming to your place unannounced, Baron. But this is very important.” Jason explained calmly, but it took the man a while before he responded. “Well, you are here already. I wonder what brought you here, and I am eager to hear it. I only hope this has nothing to do with the Franchise.” Baron turned to face Harry and a frown instantly took over the smile on his face. “Lord Walker knows not to disturb me over such trivial matters. We had a deal, and I hope he will still keep to his own end of the bargain.” Baron continued with a smirk before returning his gaze to Jason who maintained his smile even though he was confused at that moment. “This way, please! Shirley was silent for a while, but the men standing close to her knew that she was thinking of the right answer to give to them, so they didn’t mind waiting until she was ready to speak. Eventually, she figured out what to tell them, and sighed heavily before she spoke with a loud whisper, trying as much as she could to be audible enough. “There was this man, he came looking for my son a few weeks ago. He said he stole something from him, and that he was meant to pay back for it. I told him that my son was not home, but he said he knew where to find him. He left and never came back.” Shirley sniffled, suppressing the extra tears that tried to roll down her face from her eyes. “When my son came back, I tried to warn him about the strange man, but he never listens. I pleaded with him to go far away, but he is as stubborn as his father. A week later, some men came to the house and took us. They blindfolded us and took us to this beautiful house where there were a lot of guards.”

For over an hour, Jason and the Butler remained seated, waiting patiently for Brenda to return with some news. The silence between them was laced with a little tension, but they were hopeful that something positive was going to come out of their adventure. Ignoring the lady who was secretly taking pictures of him with her smart phone, Jason adjusted himself before clearing his throat. He turned to face Harry, and spoke with a low tone. “Harry? Can I ask you something?” “Sure, Young Master! Anything at all.” Harry adjusted slowly, ready to hear what Jason was going to say to him. “Do you think the boy will be willing to come with us if he is real? Again, how do you think I am meant to handle a situation like this? I mean, the boy could be in a very bad mess, and I would have to pull him out of it.” Jason sighed, unable to discard the worrisome look on his face. But the middle-aged man had a smile on his face, and before giving him a response, he chuckled softly. “I know y

The waitress discovered that two men were walking toward her, and adjusting herself with a welcoming smile on her face, she greeted them warmly. “Hello, Sir. Welcome to Joe’s Café. Do you need anything?” “Yes. Hello. We are looking for a lady called Shirley. I was told she works here.” Jason said with a smile as well, looking at the waitress whose countenance showed that she didn’t know who he was talking about. “Shirley? I don’t think I know any Shirley who works here, Sir. I am new here, but I can get you someone who could know.” “Yes, please! Thank you so much.” Harry said calmly, gesturing to the waitress who nodded before walking away, holding onto the small notepad and pen she had in her hands. “I really hope this ends well,” Jason said with a whisper, sighing firstly while he kept his eyes on the path the waitress took. The waitress returned in less than a minute with another waitress who looked older and more experienced than her. “Hello, Sirs. My name is Nora. I

For a few seconds, Jason remained silent, but it didn’t seem like that was going to solve anything. The old man was still waiting to get a response from him, and Harry was interested to know the outcome of their meeting as well. Adjusting himself to get a more comfortable posture, Jason cleared his throat and sighed before he spoke with a voice that almost sounded like a whisper. “He has a son.” He said calmly, but his words were too heavy for the other men in the room to remain as calm as he was. Lord Walker knew Jason to be a man who didn’t joke with such things but for a second, he remained calm, hoping that he was going to say he was joking. Maybe he meant to say something else. “A son?” “Yes, Grandpa. He has a son.” “Julius has a son?” Lord Walker leaned forward, and grabbed the half-empty glass of water which he consumed before returning it to the table. “Are you okay, Lord Walker?” Harry asked, moving closer to the old man who raised his hands to stop him from g

The rays from the sunlight were shining brightly through the casement windows inside the bedroom. The curtains were half closed, giving way to the rays that hit Brenda’s eyes while she groaned in her sleep. As though there was a force, she opened her eyes instantly, only to behold the sight of shirtless Jason sitting close to her with a tray in both hands. “Wakie wakie! I was worried that too were not going to wake up on time to see this.” Jason had a beautiful smile on his face while he looked at Brenda who adjusted herself slowly, sitting up while she looked at the tray he was carrying. “What’s that?” “Oh! This? I made you breakfast! I had to wake up early just to make sure that everything worked as I planned. Here…” Jason opened the dish cover to reveal the egg and sausages on the plate next to a cup of black coffee. “I tried making the coffee just like you do. I hope I tried.” Jason handed the cup of coffee to Brenda who blew on the coffee before taking a sip. “Easy! I

Special Announcement
While everyone sat comfortably, eating and drinking everything that had been set on the table, Jason picked up the glass of wine in front of him, and after looking at his Grandfather and getting the signal from him, he nodded before lifting the glass. “I have a special announcement!” He hit his fork on the brim of the glass, drawing the attention of everyone seated at the table who instantly put a hold t what they were doing, and paid keen attention to him. Everyone seemed curious to know what he was about to say except the old man who was already done eating his veggies and wiped his lips with a napkin while he maintaining a grin on his face. “First of all, I want to thank Harry for bringing his lovely family to dinner. It’s such a pleasure to have you all here. Family is everything, family is life, and I am happy that he has such a beautiful family.” Jason lifted the glass toward Harry who bowed gently, still wondering what he was up to. “Harry here has been working with thi

Jason was the first to step out of the hot tub before Brenda joined him. Handing over one of the two towels he grabbed to her, he gave her a lovely smile which made her blush while she grabbed the towel, and wrapped her body with it. “You are still staring.” Brenda said with her smile intact, but Jason couldn’t take his eyes away from her, not even for a second. “What am I going to ever do without you? You have brought me so much joy, Brenda.” “Nothing, Jay. You are going to do nothing.” Brenda chuckled while Jason nodded without getting rid of his smile. “You are right. Absolutely nothing, that’s what I am going to do if I ever lose you.” “Well, I am not leaving anytime soon. I am here with you, my love.” Brenda patted Jason on both cheeks before she turned and walked toward the bedroom, holding onto her towel with both hands. “We must hurry, Jay! We are having guests, remember?” “Oh, right! I almost forgot about that!” Jason rushed into the room, and got dressed
