Panic

“You are not going to watch him disrespect you in that manner and walk away just like that are you?”

Sarah said few seconds after Jason made his way upwards with the eyes following him, but her husband had no response to give.

“Philip? Can’t you hear me?”

“Don’t worry babe, I will handle this.”

“But he just walked out on you.” Sarah said insistently pointing at Jason who was almost out of sight.

“I said I will handle it.” Philip said in a little harsh tone to his wife, making her to groan in frustration.

Jason walked right to the apartment he shared with his wife and widened the door to the room which was halfway open.

There on the bed was Isabella snoring away in her sleep under the influence of alcohol. The entire room reeked of the stench of whiskey and vodka.

“Henry?” Jason whispered as he hurriedly moved over to the cradle at the corner of the room only to discover that his son was not there.
