Countdown

In less than a minute, the elevator took them to the top floor, and as soon as the doors opened widely after the chime sound, they got out with Harry leading the way, they walked through the hallway until they got to a door at the right end.

Harry went into the room after opening the door which was halfway open already, before Jason followed suit at once, looking at his Grandfather who was lying down on a bed at the right corner of the room.

The nurse was standing beside him, and checking his vitals, while two out of the six bodyguards who had taken him up stood at a corner.

“Is he okay?” Jason asked, causing the Doctor to turn at once to see him walking up to her. She removed the stethoscope from her ear, balanced it on her ear, and then took a short look at the old man who was breathing slowly on the bed.

“He is fine, but he needs the antidote as soon as possible. His body can no longer handle this.”

“But I thought you said he had a few months left.”
