Jason continued looking at the Doctor together with the trolley until they were almost out of sight. Suddenly, he remembered that he had an appointment, and then he gasped. “Oh, no! I am late.” He looked at the time on his wristwatch, and then he hurriedly returned back to the car. He got into the backseat, and then he rested his back on the backseat while James looked at him through the rearview mirror. “Let’s go, Harry. I am late!” “Okay, Young Master.” James nodded, and then he turned on the ignition of the car and drove onto the road, increasing the speed of the car with every passing second once he was certain that there was no car coming from behind the car. Jason adjusted his shirt and made sure that his hair was okay by looking at his reflection in the rearview mirror even though he couldn't get a clear view of himself. Jason turned around slowly, and then he moved to the seat and sat down slowly with his eyes scouring the entire place. He remained seated and occasionally looked at the secretary who was so busy with her computer that she barely lifted her eyes from the keyboard she was typing with. A few minutes later, the door to the Manager's office opened slowly, causing Jason to lift his head as soon as he heard the sound of the door opening, followed by two male voices.“Great, when I thought today was going to go smoothly,” Jason grunted as soon as he recognized the man who was walking out of the office with the Manager. They had smiles plastered on their faces, but the Manager seemed like he was smiling out of courtesy, while the middle-aged man beside him seemed a bit more excited. “Alright, Mr. Palmer. I have heard everything you have said, and I will definitely give it a thought. But I need you to remember that I don’t make the final shots.” The Manager said to Morgan after they sh

“Oh, no,” Jason whispered to himself as soon as he turned around to see James holding the Resume Harry handed over to him. He didn’t even realize that he had left it in the car. He stared at James who remained still while handing out the documents to him with both hands. It took him a few seconds to get a grip on himself, and as soon as he did, he quickly grabbed the papers from James and winked at him. “Thank you, Sir. I didn’t even realize that I had forgotten these. I am super grateful.” Jason said to James who didn’t understand what was going on, especially with the fact that Jason winked at him. That was strange. Jason was hopeful that no one really heard when James referred to him as Young Master, but it was already late. Jason followed the Manager almost immediately into the office, and shut the door behind him, with the Resume still tightly gripped in his right hand. “Please, have a seat.” The Manager pointed to one of the seats in front of his deal, while he sat down on his seat behind the desk.“Thank you, Sir.” Jason proceeded to sit down on the seat on the right. “Please, call me Mr. Coleman. Or maybe you can call me Declan. All of that Sir makes me feel like I am a stranger to the people I am working with, and if we are going to be working together, I would really want us to start off on a smooth ground.” Jason looked at the nameplate, and he was able to confirm that the name of the Manager was really Declan Coleman. “Mr. Caruso? Are you there?” “Yes, yes, Sir,” Jason said at once, taking his eyes off the nameplate, and lifting his face to look at the Manager who nodded in satisfaction. “Yes. So, as I was saying. Please, call me Mr. Coleman, or Declan. Any of them would be fine.”

“Thank you so much, Mr. Coleman. I promise that you won’t regret this.” Jason grabbed the hand of the Manager who offered him a handshake with a smile on his face. “I am sure that I won’t regret this, Mr. Caruso. And I hope that you find whatever it is that you are looking for.” Declan said, and then he withdrew his hand from the handshake and adjusted his jacket almost immediately. “However…” He continued and leaned forward to take a look at the documents in front of him on the table, while Jason wondered what he was about to say. “I don’t think I would want you to work here as a Janitor for so long. I think I might have a position where you can be more useful. Since you really want to work here with us, I will speak to the Human Resources Manager, I am sure she will look for something more lucrative for you to do. “Alright, Xena. What do you want?” Declan asked after a few seconds of struggling to keep a good composure. The Assistant Manager was about to speak when she remembered that Jason was there with them, and she turned to look at him with the same disdain in her eyes. “What is it, Xena? I am sure that if this has something to do with the company, Mr. Caruso here can hear it as well. He is now a part of this company.” “Him?” Xena pointed at Jason who remained calm. “Yes, him. As so as Xena blurted out those without any form of remorse, Jason coughed impulsively, and as soon as he realized that the other two people in the room had turned to look at him, he looked down almost immediately and cleared his throat as though something had really gotten into his throat. “Are you alright, Mr. Caruso?”“Yes, I am fine. I am fine, Sir. Thank you.” Jason responded to the Manager who looked a bit concerned about the way he coughed and cleared his throat. “Are you sure? You sounded like you needed some water. I could get you some if you want.” “No, you don’t need to bother about that, Mr. Coleman. I am totally fine.” Jason insisted with a smile after he managed to turn to look at the Manager. “Very well, if you insist,” Declan said, and then he turned to look at Xena who couldn’t hide the displeasure she had for Jason who interrupted their conversation. “Can we go back to the reason why we are here, Mr. Declan? “And what could that be?” Scarlet asked with so much curiosity written all over her face. Jason looked at the jumpsuit in his hands for a few seconds before he turned to look at the Supervisor who was eagerly waiting to hear what he was going to say.
