Distracted

Brenda looked at Jason for a few seconds, and when she couldn’t resist the urge to fall for his smile, she grabbed his hand slowly, and he pulled her upward before holding her on the waist.

Their eyes met with each other, and Brenda couldn’t keep her eyes away from his after realizing how fascinating his blue orbs were.

“I am really sorry that you had to pass through all of that in the hands of that monster. You deserve better.” Jason said with a smile, breaking the silence that had existed between them while Brenda looked away from his compelling eyes.

“Thank you.” She said with a low tone, while she wrapped her arms around his neck, engulfed by the euphoria of the chemistry that existed between them.

“For what?” Jason asked after waiting for her to speak again but only received a few seconds of silence.

“For standing up for me at the restaurant, and for doing whatever you did to stop him from ever laying his hand on any woman.”
