Gathering of foes

The middle-aged man seated in front of Jason was skeptical for a few seconds, staring at him with several thoughts running through his mind.

“Your face. it looks very familiar. Have we met before?”

“I doubt that, Mr. Brooks. I am sure we haven’t met before to the best of my knowledge. Maybe you may have seen someone who looks exactly like me. I get that a lot.”

“Oh, I see. It’s nice to meet you, Mr. Jones.”

“Please, call me Albert.” Jason shook hands with Silas who extended his hands as well, forcing a smile on his face.

“It’s really been a tough time for Mr. Brooks, Albert. One unfortunate being had his son locked up, and he has been trying to get him out. The evidence against him is everywhere, making it almost impossible get him out.” Philip explained, grabbing one of the empty glasses on the table in front of him.

“That’'s sad. I am really sorry about that, Mr. Brooks. What do you intend to do about this?” Jason asked with a look of concern on his face, still standing
