Brenda walked into the room with her black box tightly held in her left hand. The look on her face wasn't as bright as always, and that was the first thing Jason noticed about her, but he decided to remain calm. “Hello, Lord Walker.” “Is that my future Granddaughter-in-law? Brenda dear! Come, come!” Lord Walker gestured to Brenda to hurry up with a smile which she managed to force herself to reciprocate. “How are you doing?” Brenda asked the old man who nodded with his smile intact and continued staring at her pleasantly. “I am just going to drop this here. They spent over thirty minutes on the road, but Jason didn’t mind, as long as they were going to eventually get to their destination which was getting him closer to his plans. She led them to a nice club located not very far from the hotel. “Do you come here often?” Jason asked after observing the place for a while. “Not really! I have only been here once and I think the only thing that impressed me about them was their cocktail!” Adele responded with a loud tone, trying to make sure Jason heard her amidst the loud music that boomed from the big speakers in the club. Jason looked at Brenda for a while, unable to find the right response to give to him. The resemblance was alarming, and the fact that the boy reminded him of himself when he was about the same age was enough. But he didn’t seem like he was the proudest father at that moment.
