The Janitor

Jason turned around slowly, and then he moved to the seat and sat down slowly with his eyes scouring the entire place.

He remained seated and occasionally looked at the secretary who was so busy with her computer that she barely lifted her eyes from the keyboard she was typing with.

A few minutes later, the door to the Manager's office opened slowly, causing Jason to lift his head as soon as he heard the sound of the door opening, followed by two male voices.

“Great, when I thought today was going to go smoothly,” Jason grunted as soon as he recognized the man who was walking out of the office with the Manager.

They had smiles plastered on their faces, but the Manager seemed like he was smiling out of courtesy, while the middle-aged man beside him seemed a bit more excited.

“Alright, Mr. Palmer. I have heard everything you have said, and I will definitely give it a thought. But I need you to remember that I don’t make the final shots.” The Manager said to Morgan after they sh
