Jason looked at Gregory, asking if he had the right to know where the baby was, and Gregory nodded in response.

“He is with me,” Jason responded calmly, and the Judge nodded with a smirk on his face with his eyes showing signs of intended mischief.

“I was hoping that he was going to be present in this court hearing.”

“That was not stipulated, Magistrate. There was no demand by the Judge who was supposed to preside over this case that the baby should be brought. Moreover, he is still a toddler, and would definitely have no impact in this case.” Gregory responded firmly, looking at the Magistrate with so much displeasure.
