The Magistrate

The courtroom was quiet, but even in the midst of the stillness, Jason still found his confidence which exhumed an aura that almost consumed Isabella as soon as she walked into the room.

She met Jason and his Attorney whispering some words to themselves while they looked at the documents in the files in front of them. It was as if they were war Generals looking at a truckload of missiles, and getting ready to launch them at their opponents.

They saw Isabella as soon as she entered the room and grabbed a seat opposite them at the long conference table, but they pretended as though she did not exist, and continued what they were doing.

At some point, she got a bit anxious and tried to peep to see what they were looking at in their documents, but her vision was too blurry, and she couldn’t strain further in order not to be noticed.

“Thank you so much for this, Greg. Thank you for taking the time to get these ready, I am sure that everything will work perfectly.”
