Jason chuckled almost immediately, looking at Clark who turned to look at him with a frown on his face.

“What is funny? Huh?”

“You, Clark. You are the one who is a joke right now. Do you really think you were going to bribe your way through this one alongside your lover? I thought you were smarter than this, but clearly, you didn't take note of the signs.”

“What stupid signs are you talking about? He already gave his verdict!”

“You mean your verdict? He just did what you paid him to do, or maybe you are holding any of his daughters, hostage, just like you did with the Doctor.”

“That’s…” Clark wanted to speak, but he had to stop the moment he remembered what Jason did to the Magistrate, and he looked at the phone he was holding, causing Jason to chuckle at once.

“Don’t worry, Clark. I already have everything that I need to prove that you kidnapped the Doctor’s family. I am sure that by the time Isabella here is arrested, she will mention that you aided her in the act.” Jason
