Everyone went silent while they kept their eyes on Jason who refused to let go of his smile. He stared at Milo for a few seconds, and then he took a step closer to him.

Milo’s breath shook, and he continued to look at Jason who stood a few inches in front of him. He could feel an intense tension creeping inside him, and his heartbeat became more aggressive with each passing moment.

“I see what you tried to do there, Milo. You just tried to deny the fact that you didn’t give Mr. Chang and his friends the job to poison Lord Walker….” Jason said calmly, and when t the look on Milo’s face changed to confirm his words, he nodded in satisfaction.

“There it is, the guilt that has exposed you. You know, Milo. We do not have full control of our emotions, especially when we find ourselves in very extreme situations such as this. Your Asian friends have already given us all the information we need, and I guess you still haven’t found out that we had them in our custody a while ago.”
