Chapter 6

Tristan threw himself on the bed with such a happy face, staring at his phone screen with a smile showing his teeth.

"I have so much money. I'm so happy. With this money what should I do? I can buy a lot of food and also," he stopped talking and thought about what he should buy with this 15 million dollars.

He had just arrived at his flat and was forced to put his car at Lucy's. They had even saved each other's cell phone numbers and were now friends.

"If you look at this notification, it means I have to fulfill 100%, which means I'll probably get more money than this."

Tristan was very excited to talk about money. He could even imagine large bills falling and becoming the water for his bath.

"Yeah, what I thought earlier must be true." Tristan held his stomach suddenly, too excited to feel hungry. "It seems I should order some food first, I spent too much money just to buy the things that damn woman wanted. Now I'm relieved to be rid of her and I should celebrate by eating lots of good food."

Tristan licked his lips slightly and played with his cell phone quickly, ordering a lot of food to satisfy his cravings. Thirty minutes later, the food he ordered had arrived. It was a tremendous amount of food, and it was rare for him to eat first.

When he was with Celine, he even found it challenging to ask Celine out on a date at the cafe. Since he didn't have much money, he was forced to order only drinks to let Celine order the food she wanted, and she didn't appreciate it at all.

Tristan was now devouring his food happily. Only when he had half eaten a very rude knock was heard.

"Hey damn it! Get the fuck out of there!"

The rude knock occurred again with the sound of shouting repeatedly occurring, Tristan knew who the person making the noise was. It was Wrej who owned the flat and had such a foul mouth. Tristan opened the door and immediately saw Wren's unfriendly face, which was very annoying.

"You damn man! You now have to pay your debt, you're one week past due. If not you'd better stay out."

"Wren, I do want to give it to you, after I eat I want to send you the money." Tristan replied calmly, but Wren's reply was very rude to Tristan. He pulled Tristan's shirt collar, which made Tristan cough.

"You talk too much, poor man. I hear you're only working as a delivery man now and you must have no money."

"That would be true if I worked as a delivery man but I have money." Tristan pushed Wren's body away, and he managed to escape Wren's tight grip.

"You're too delusional, you're a man of no ability and you talk too much, you shouldn't live here and maybe my flat is shit because of you."

"Hey, I'll pay for it and you talk too much Wren." Tristan looked at him coldly. The longer Wren talked, the more it widened to things unrelated to Tristan.

"I heard that you were dumped by Celine because you were stupid and unreliable, you were too much of a daydreamer and a stupid man. Now she's got a much better man than you, she's a smart woman for not being with scum like you." Wren pointed at Tristan.

Hearing all of Wren's words made Tristan's ears even hotter. He hadn't thought about moving out of here before, but now he was determined to leave this crappy place because he had the money.

"This ugly flat of yours is so annoying, I'm going to move out because it just pisses me off."

"You dare insult me!" Wren raised her voice, he snapped at Tristan, who wasn't looking at him. It wasn't long before Wren's phone vibrated, and he saw that Tristan's transfer had just come through.

"Hey, I've paid my previous rent, and I'll never live here again because this ugly place just makes me look poor."

Tristan replied to Wren's remark, which made the man widen his eyes.

"Having just been able to pay the flat rent, you're so arrogant you poor deliveryman, right now you need to move out of here immediately or else all your belongings will catch fire!"

Tristan didn't care about his shouting, he moved quickly to carry his stuff to get out of there fast, only the essential items he brought because the rest he could buy back.

"You arrogant bastard, you'll definitely beg again to stay here. A useless man like you would do something like this because you have no self-respect."

Tristan stopped his power and showed Wren his phone screen with a stern face.

"You see that, that's just a little bit of my money. Don't let me use my powers to destroy this place." Tristan gesticulated, he was sure that, seeing the amount, Wren would think for a moment that Tristan probably had even more money than he did.

"A... aa. How can you have so much money?" Wren moved her hands together in disbelief, and Tristan took this opportunity to fold his hands in front of his chest.

It didn't matter if he acted arrogant and lied in front of this man who constantly insulted him. He kept quiet because he had no money, but things had changed.

"Do you think I'm a poor man? Ah, living in this place is very insulting to me and I'm tired!" Tristan turned around, and the statement was now affecting Wren.

Wren wanted to retain a wealthy resident like Tristan. She lashed out at Tristan's hand and looked at him with pleading eyes.

"Just stay here, I'll give you great service. You know I'm a good landlord, right?"

Everything Wren said was a lie, if Tristan was a day late on his payments, the man would insult her repeatedly and even be rude.

"I don't want to be here, it's not to my taste to have money." Tristan let go of Wren's hand very roughly, he grabbed his bag and quickly walked out of the flat he was using.

"Tristan! You can use this flat, but you have to remember me for helping you!" he yelled, but Tristan also yelled back as he walked out of the flat.

"This ugly flat of yours is going to be ruined soon, it's full of bugs and rats, it's a slum! I'll never come here again!"

Tristan slammed the iron railing between the stairs in annoyance. He locked it afterwards to not let Wren chase him. Meanwhile, he walked towards his bike to find a new place to live, but when he got to the front of his dirty, he saw Celine, who looked at him with different eyes when she thought it was Tristan.

"Tristan, you know that I love you."

Tristan ignored her, he put his bag on the motorcycle he used to deliver packages.

"Stop lying. You don't love me and stay away from me."

Celine did not listen to Tristan's words, she hugged Tristan's arm tightly and pressed her chest against his.

"Tristan, I know you have a car now. You shouldn't have to use this lousy dirty anymore and be a delivery man, right?" his voice that used to feel so soft now felt so minute. Tristan immediately pushed Celine's body roughly.

"I'm not with you, you just want my money." Tristan looked at her with annoyance. He remembered how insulting Celine had been.

But Celine did not give up, she again held Tristan's hand and looked at him intently.

"I have no relationship with Donny, I just love you. Can you give me a chance? I'll do whatever you want, Tristan." She played her fingers on Tristan's chest, who had been holding back. He squeezed her hand firmly and spoke.

"Alright, I'll give you one more chance if you'll do something for me, Celine."

A notification in front of her had appeared, he liked this, which made him even more excited.

[New introduction task]

[Success reward: 30 million dollars]
