2. Super Rich Family

"Viktor, let me help you!"

Xandrova looked at Viktor worriedly. Her beautiful face looked paler than usual.

"No, Zoya!"

The sentence that Viktor had just spoken, of course, surprised Xandrova. For Viktor Gusev Konstantin, bearing his wife's surname was not a burden, as most people told him. However, it's not something to be proud of either.

"Why? I'm your wife, right?"

Xandrova frowned as she waited for Viktor to answer her question.

"Yes! Precisely! Because you're my wife. I won't let you do heavy things like carrying these suitcases, Zoya."

Viktor's baritone voice made Xandrova smile. Not because of his distinctive voice. It was because the meaning implied in the sentence Viktor just said was always able to hypnotize her and make her a valuable woman in his eyes.

"Viktor, Ya lyublyu vas!" Meaning, "I love you!"

Xandrova briefly stood on tiptoe, then pressed her rosy lips to the surface of Viktor's cheek.

"Let's just go into our room, shall we?"

Xandrova exclaimed after surprising Viktor with her behavior. They also entered the Four Seasons Hotel room. It was a room that Davidoff had rented long ago.

Tuck! Tuck! Tuck!

It was the sound of Xandrova's steps on the floor, clicking on each other. The 19-year-old woman lay on the large bed and raised her head to look at the ceiling.

'Oh my! What a luxurious hotel room!' Viktor screamed in his heart, admiring the luxury of the hotel room where he was currently setting foot.

"Zoya, take a rest for a moment before we start our activities!"

Viktor put the suitcases he brought into the large cupboard, standing right on the left side of the bed.

"Viktor, when will you deliver Papa and Mama's suitcases to their room?"

Viktor and Xandrova's two blue eyes collided. Occasionally, Xandrova swallowed saliva when looking at her husband's masculine face and vice versa.

'You are truly gorgeous, Zoya! However, I dare not to touch you if you don't want to,' thought Viktor.

"I'll deliver it now."

"Why are you taking so long, Viktor?! Didn't the servant help carry things earlier?!"

Galana Konstantina reprimanded her son-in-law, who had just arrived carrying two large suitcases belonging to her and Davidoff.

"Sorry, Mom. I took Zoya to her room first because she looked overwhelmed."

Viktor answered Galana's question while placing the two suitcases he was carrying in the corner of the room.

"Zoya is not overwhelmed by the journey to get here, but she is overwhelmed by having a useless husband like you, Viktor! Why didn't you realize that with your stupid brain?!"

Sentences containing slurs like the one just now often become a daily meal for Viktor, who lives at his in-laws' house. Now and then, he felt angry and wanted to beat up anyone who had insulted him, but he couldn't do anything about it. He had no choice but to be patient.

"Wait!"

Davidoff, who had been just sitting watching television, now spoke up. He looked at Viktor next to the large European carved bed.

"What are you doing there, Viktor?!" Davidoff pointed to two large suitcases that Viktor had deliberately placed in the corner of the room. "Take out all the contents and put them neatly in the cupboard!" Davidoff shouted, giving orders to Viktor.

"Oh my!"

Galana ran a little towards her son-in-law. Her emotions went up and down when dealing with Viktor.

"You ...."

Galana opened the suitcases one by one roughly. She looked carefully at the entire contents of the suitcase.

"Don't ruin all my clothes! Put 'em well in there!"

Galana pointed at the large cupboard with sharp eyes.

"Yes, Mom."

Viktor answered in a low tone. He rushed with the suitcase to the cupboard that Galana was referring to.

"Good, Viktor. For a pathetic husband, you know your place quite well!"

"Hmm ...."

Viktor sighed. He couldn't care less about what his mother-in-law said because he had to survive for the sake of the trust of the great master of the Konstantin family, Gennadius Zigfrids Konstantin, to continue to look after and love Xandrova sincerely. He did whatever work his two in-laws ordered him to do deftly and neatly.

"Viktor, come here quickly!"

Davidoff called Viktor without turning around. Hearing his father-in-law's exclamation, the 185-centimeter-tall man rushed over to him.

"Yes, Dad?"

Viktor observed Davidoff's behavior. The man changed his sitting position with his back to Viktor.

"Hurry up and massage me!"

'What?! Massage?! Am I like a masseuse or something?!' Viktor asked in his heart.

"What are you waiting for, Viktor? Do it right now!"

Davidoff pointed to his sore shoulder. He always ordered Viktor without hesitation.

"David, why don't you go to the reflexology massage facility available at this hotel?"

'Thank goodness she gave him good advice,' thought Viktor as he hid his smile.

"In this hotel, there are various types of massage and the benefits you can get, David."

Galana continued her words while placing the smartphone on the nightstand. The woman grabbed sunscreen from the handbag she was carrying and then smeared it on her face.

"You're right, Darling. Go back to your room, Viktor!"

David ordered Viktor to leave his room immediately. He turned off the television channel as he prepared to go to the reflexology massage place that Galana had mentioned earlier.

"Yes, Dad. I will."

Hearing Viktor's answer just now, Davidoff shook his head. "I'm too disgusted to hear you refer to me as your dad! Because you know what?" Davidoff got up from his seat and walked around Viktor, who was silent like a stone. "Because for me, Maksim is everything. He is handsome, rich, and the sole heir to the Romanov family company. Truly the perfect dream husband for Zoya!"

It didn't stop there. Galana, who had been busy paying attention to her husband and son-in-law, now walked over to the two of them.

"Viktor, do you know who the Romanov family is?!"

Galana looked at Viktor sarcastically. He watched his son-in-law's figure from head to toe.

"The Romanov family is the richest family in Russia, and its wealth is ranked number one according to Forbes magazine."

'Is it true that the Romanov family is the richest in Russia? So why do they seem to care so much about all that? Do all prominent families think like that?'

Viktor's mind filled with tons of questions.

"What are you waiting for?! Get out of here quickly!"

Galana continued her sentence. He looked at Viktor with disinterested eyes.

"Yes, Mom."

Just as Viktor answered his mother-in-law's orders, he heard a knock on the door.

The atmosphere became silent for a moment. Viktor caught Galana and Davidoff exchanging glances as both of their smiles grew.

'Looks like Maksim has arrived,' Galana thought, smiling broadly. 'I will arrange a time for Zoya and Maksim without Viktor's presence,' she continued.

"Open the door, Viktor!"

Galana deliberately gave orders to Viktor, hoping that his son-in-law would be surprised when he saw that the handsome and dashing figure of Maksim had arrived.

"Oーokay, Mom."

Riding high curiosity, Viktor immediately stepped towards the door. Meanwhile, the couple who always looked down on Viktor threw smiles at each other and their faces seemed truly happy.
