"Are you serious?!" Madame Sharon exclaimed in shock. "That good for nothing purchased the land at Hillcrest for thirty million dollars?!"

Hermione nodded tiredly and sat on the couch. "He did. He signed the contract, Mom. It doesn't seem like he's good for nothing like we make him out to be… He has money, Mom. He has money, people, and connections but we keep getting blinded. I saw it with my own two eyes. As much as I didn't want to believe it, it was clear as day."

Madame Sharon kept herself in a curious stance as she narrowed her eyes at Hermione. "Do you mean that he's been deceiving us?"

"I think we've been stupid. I feel sick, I need to go to my room." She said and walked up the stairs.

Madame Sharon scoffed and shook her head at the thought of it. No way. Miracles don't happen overnight so it cannot be the case. If Dylan is capable of fooling Hermione, it won't work on her. He will always be the poor bastard in her head.

There has to be something else to explain the contract.
