On the north side of the east river, Dylan crawled out of the water with Princess Mane in his arms, onto the sandy banks.

Dylan quickly assessed Princess Mane's condition and saw that she wasn't breathing and had no pulse. He knew he had to act fast, so he began Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.

He started by placing the heel of his hand on the center of her chest and interlocking his fingers. With his arms straight and elbows locked, he pushed down on her chest, applying enough pressure to compress the chest about two inches deep.

After 30 chest compressions, he tilted her head back and lifted her chin to open her airway. He pinched her nostrils shut and took a deep breath before placing his mouth over hers, forming a seal with his lips.

He blew air into her lungs, watching her chest rise and fall, before repeating the process again as he saw she wasn't waking up. "Damn it! Please don't die on me, Jessica!" He lamented as he continued the cycle of 30 chest compressions and two breaths,
