'I'm here to give you back your child' kept ringing in Dylan's ears. Dylan's mind was racing as he looked at the little girl standing beside his ex-girlfriend, Lily. He couldn't believe what she was telling him. It seemed like a joke, but the serious look on Lily's face confirmed it was anything but.

"My child?" He questioned in complete mistrust.

Lily nodded with a convinced expression. "Yeah, she's your child."

Dylan huffed, feeling like he had heard the most bizarre thing. "This can't be true," Dylan said, shaking his head. "I mean, I haven't heard from you in years, and now you show up with my child? How is that possible? What trick are you trying to play with me right now?"

Lily rolled her eyes, her lips twisted in a scowl. "You think I'm playing tricks with you? With an ordinary, good for nothing pauper like you? You know, it's like I knew this is what was gonna happen to you. I felt like I dodged a bullet. There's just one bullet that struck me hard and that's getting pregnant
