"That's a great idea.” Ruby supported and said to them. "Come on, let's go have lunch. We can discuss the party over lunch.”

Miranda stood there staring at her Uncle and Aunt as well as lady Mary. She was speechless as she watched them chatting away and pretended that she didn't exist. Like she wasn't a family member.

“Miranda, you're welcome to join us for lunch. If you wish." Ruby said to her but she declined.

"I'm fine, Aunt.” The invitation sounded like it didn't come from her mind. They didn't like her after all, what's the point of going to dine with them alone. They could only dine together if it was a family dinner.

Miranda believed that her uncle and his family were selfish and could only think of anything that'll benefit them.

They were celebrating over the result of her hard work and didn't care about how she felt.
