Later that evening, Liam found his way back to his wife's diner. The shop was already closed for the day. However, Miranda was not yet getting ready to go home. Her assistants were already off, leaving her all by herself.

Since the door was closed from inside, Liam had to knock on it.

“We're closed for the day." A sad voice replied from the inside.
