Anxiety filled the air as Mr. Millen paced back and forth in his lavish study, while Victor leaned against the wall, visibly irritated by his companion's unease.

The impending arrival of Mara as their representative had Mr. Millen on edge, his mind consumed by the weight of a buried secret.

"Victor, you don't understand," Mr. Millen exclaimed, his voice trembling. "If everyone finds out about what we did, everything will crumble. The company, our reputation, everything!"

Victor silently rolled his eyes upon hearing Mr. Millen's rant. "What is he so worked up about? It's just a representative role. Is he overthinking this? I feel like I wasted my time coming here. All he's doing is spouting nonsense."
