24. Guilty not guilty

Micheal couldn't wait to tell Ellen the good news, he knew that she would be relieved as much as he was, even if he had to wait a week, it didn't matter to him, as long as the contract was not terminated.

Getting out of the elevator, Ellen couldn't wait to ask him how the meeting with John went. As soon as she saw him, she left her seat and walked up to him.

"It was all a mistake," Micheal said, even before she asked, and Ellen heaved a sigh of relief.

"I told you not to worry," she said,

"I'm so glad it has been sorted out...

"Not yet," Micheal interjected while walking toward one of the seats.

"I'll have to come back in two days."

While the couple chatted away, Oscar stepped out of the elevator, and the first thing he saw was the both of them.

"Oh shit, I thought they'll be gone by now," He cursed, but unfortunately, he couldn't turn back now. His bodyguards were behind him, and he felt that it would be very awkward to just turn around and head back into the elevator.
