64. The Final Verdict

“What did you say?” Florentino stopped eating and looked at Belinda.

Belinda forced a smile on her partner. “Floyd, he came here. He wanted me to live with him because Miguel was with him now.”

Florentino hit the table hard. Belinda almost jumped from her seat. She instantly trembled because she knew Florentino did not like what she said. But she remained calm. Floyd was right. It was about time that she stopped thinking about her gratitude to him.

“You will go to your criminal, son?! Why? Do you think he can help you? He couldn’t even find a decent job for himself!”

Florentino didn’t know about Floyd’s identity. It was the best that he didn’t know. Belinda knew him that much to know what kind of a man he was.
