The next morning.

Jessica was on her way to her job, currently waiting at the bus stop, but she was talking with Irene about Russell’s marriage. “If he gets married, I wouldn’t be able to see him often, right?”

“No, you won’t be able to see him ever again,” Irene bluntly said, bringing a tear to Jessica’s eye. “Since you clearly love him so much, why don’t you just go and confess to him?”

“What? Now?” Jessica was shocked. “He has a wedding tomorrow, with a big family at that. If I go and talk him out of it, everyone will think badly of me.”

“Screw what others think about you. Only what Russell thinks about you matters,” Irene said. “And he didn’t give you the wedding card, did he? Why do you think so? Isn’t it because he couldn’t give it to you? Maybe, deep in his heart… he has feelings for you, and he just doesn’t know it yet.”
