CHAPTER 158

In the morning, Russell was enjoying hot almond milk while sitting in the garden. Sparrows were playing nearby where he had hung a stalk of rice grains. The voices of the sparrows were pleasant on the ears.

Even though Russell had been humiliated by his mother-in-law only three days ago, he looked at peace now.

This was because he had achieved a few things that made him feel confident and more importantly happy.

Firstly, he won Liam’s bet, which he thought was impossible to win.

Secondly, he bettered his relationship with Tyler and also found a friend and a mentor in Tom, who also taught him how to make almond milk.

Thirdly, he managed to give money for Viola’s school trip and in doing so made her leave the farm house without even having to tell her.

Fourthly, not just his ‘thieves in my garden’ video, but also his video showing him fighting with the dogs in the street also got great views, though not as much as the thieves’ video, which was still going strong.
