CHAPTER 207

Russell was aghast after he ended up spitting the medicine in Sansa’s face, but he was even more astonished to see Jessica at the door.

Jessica silently came and sat down in the chair and pulled the documents out of the file. “If you read these and sign them, I’ll be on my way,” she said, looking Russell in the eye, “so you can continue playing with your ‘juvenile’ maid.” Even though she had put on a poker face, her eyes were oozing out anger and jealousy.

“I’m not a minor,” Sansa said, wiping her face clean with a towel. “And I’m not a maid, either.”

“Yes, Jessica. She’s a nurse,” Russell quickly explained while struggling to get off the bed. “My father-in-law selected her because she’s exceptional when it comes to healing even crazy injuries.”

“Oh, I can definitely see that,” Jessica said icily, squinting her eyes and giving a mildly threatening gaze at Sansa. “Fighting the patient who got stabbed three times is considered exceptional treatment these days.”
