On that night, Regan went home and watched the old videos of his children in a home theater with no one but wine for company.

Memories flashed right before his mind. He gave his son everything he wanted, but he didn’t give his daughter all that she asked of him. He spoiled his son by giving too much most of the time. Perhaps, because of that, his son didn’t learn some things that Regan had in his childhood.

“But I regret thinking that way. Sons should be put through tough work, so that it builds them for facing the challenges outside, whereas daughters should be protected and preserved so that they can support their husbands and families later on.
