CHAPTER 302

Russell came home in the evening. It had been three days since he last saw Kyra, so he went into the bedroom.

To his surprise, Kyra wasn’t alone. There were almost a dozen female friends that had completely filled the room. For a second, he felt overwhelmed. “Sorry,” he said and was leaving.

“Russell, where are you going?” Kyra called him. “Come here, let me introduce you to my friends.”

“I remember some of them,” Russell said, smiling slightly. “They came to your grandmother’s wedding, I mean, birthday.”

Some of them chuckled at his mistake.

Russell felt more than a little awkward because twenty four foreign eyes were staring at him with different intentions.

Kyra introduced them one by one. All of them gave him proper handshakes. Some asked him why he wasn’t wearing any jewelry except the wedding ring and also told him that Kyra also didn’t wear jewelry, so they were made for each other.

Russell then said, “Kyra is stunning as she is. What’s the need for jewelry?”
