Max survived.

Tom and Russell carefully took him back home after Russell paid for the expenses.

Though Russell insisted that the dog be kept in the hospital for a couple of days, Tom was against it. He was afraid of all the bad things that happened to his wife at the hospitals, and so he didn’t want his dog to be in a hospital for long, either.

After coming home, Russell asked Tom, “Why didn’t you take the tablets and injections the doctor gave? Don’t you want Max to be healed fast?”

“I can heal Max faster on my own,” Tom said and turned on a certain type of music.

“This…” Russell was surprised because this was the same music Tom had played after Rachel died. “Why are you playing a tune? What good will it do?”

“Music vibrates with the body,” Tom said. “Depending on the frequencies, you can heal almost any type of disease or illness. You can also harm with wrong frequencies. For instance, if you tune the music to 432hz, it heals us on all levels. But 440hz is bad for us.”
