Almost ten hours after Regan was brought to the hospital.

So many people from all around the country came to see Regan, but none of them were allowed to see Regan.

The first person that Regan allowed to enter the intensive care unit was Jessica only, which made many mouths murmur among themselves.

Regan was still lying down on the bed, but he didn’t have the oxygen mask on. “Where’s the guy that came with you?” he asked in a low and weak voice.

“He waited and left only twenty minutes ago, sir,” Jessica told her. “Someone called him, and so he left. Oh, he told me to give this to you.” She gave him the access card that Regan had given to him.

Regan faintly smiled. “He came to give this back to me, huh.”

“Yes. Luckily, he came at the right time. Otherwise….” Jessica didn’t know what to say. “What did the doctor say about your condition, sir?”

“It’s just a stroke,” Regan responded. “Whatever they might say, I know I’ll be fine, but still, I need to be careful for three, four days. And th
