Jennifer came upstairs and saw the burger, sandwich, and the cooldrink bottle on the floor. “Did you throw them on the floor?” she scowled at Natasha. “You think this is your house?”

Natasha gritted her teeth.

“Why aren’t you speaking?” Jennifer raised her voice. “Are you dumb? Or Did my son’s slap make you deaf?”

“You…” Natasha’s blood boiled. She immediately stood from the couch. “Who do you think you are!”

“I’m the owner of this house, you little cunt,” Jennifer growled and didn’t back down. Natasha felt somewhat intimidated by the redness in Jennifer’s eyes. “You better pick the food and either eat or throw it away. And clean the floor while you’re at it.”

“What? Clean the floor?” Natasha clenched her hands. She had never done such a thing before. “I’d rather leave this damn house than do what you tell me to do.” She started to walk away.

“Liam’s men are waiting outside,” Jennifer said. “I’m sure they’ll be more than happy to drag your sorry ass back in.”
