CHAPTER 77

Ethan knew something was up when a customer called him. He hadn’t put his lollipop away just to hear one of his friends complain about another friend, whom he knew had dated. He had no idea when they split up or what happened, but sensing the tension and conflict in between Russell and Natasha, he smiled smoothly. “Sure, sir. We’ll provide you with the most experienced pair of assistants.”

Ethan then allotted Johnson and Jackson to Bennett family, which the cousins were very happy about because they would be receiving tips!

Losing customers was a greatly demotivating thing, but Natasha didn’t feel bad in that regard. She felt relieved that she no longer needed to deal with the Bennett family. Though she wouldn’t get the tip, she was okay with that. Ethan also didn’t scold her or anything, so he was alright with how things turned out. Then again, at the back of her mind, she was finding it difficult to digest the fact that Russell had rejected her services. It didn’t feel good at all.
