Elise had already told the staff downstairs to open up the main door whenever her friends arrived. They got to her place when it was some minutes after 9pm. Elise was already lying on her bed, her heavy duvet covered her from her chin down to her feet. Her phone was besides her and the voice of a man spoke from the phone. It was her boyfriend, David. She had dialed his number without giving it much thoughts and he answered.

He apologized that he was caught up in the middle of a crisis as one of his cousins who lived with him in his private apartment outside school, had gotten a sudden asthmatic attack and badly needed to be rushed to the hospital.

He then told her that he was going to make it up to her by coming over to see her at her father’s residence, but only for a few minutes, before he would go back to the hospital where his cousin was hospitalized.
