Throughout the evening , Elise couldn’t get her mind off the way Richard her publicly humiliated her. He had completely ignored her when she spoke to him but yet , he readily spoke to another girl who was probably a common place person.

She fumed inwardly as she sat in the car while her mother drove. Although her eyes were trained on the houses that does past as the car drove, her mind was elsewhere. It was heavy.
