Chapter Nineteen
The weekend was an unexciting one for Elise because she was stuck alone at home with so much to do.

She had cancelled her plans to go on a spa date with one of her friends because of the essays she had to write for school.

As she sat at her study table, her open laptop facing her, she wondered if she had not done wrong to turn down the offer of going out to have fun instead of sitting at home in a quiet, lonely too with piles of assignments waiting for her.

She placed her head in between both hands and leant on the study table.

Her eyes fell on her newly pedicured toenails. Pink. That had always been her color.

Her mother never failed to get all her items in pink. She had grown to accept the color as a part of her. She drew in a long, hard breath ,stood up from her seat and pushed the chair backwards.

She needed something to distract her from her unfinished projects and just one thing came to mind; it was the new romance movies that had been released only last week.
