Ainz was in a fluster as he stared at the panel, 'What is this?' he thought to himself silently while he lay on what he couldn't tell what it was.

'Huh?'

Immediately, as Ainz thought to this point, another black flat panel full of white written words slowly appeared before his eyes.

At this point Ainz couldn't stop staring at the magical screen in front of him in wonder, he couldn't understand where it came from or why it was displaying such strange information to him.

It was strange, since he had never seen anything like it before in his previous life, but now it had suddenly appeared before him out of thin air. He would have thought, his mind was making up things, if not for what he had just gone through several minutes ago.

Even though he played along, he was still having a hard time digesting all this information, as well as his sudden new reality of life.

Staring at the magical screen in front of him again, his eyes gradually went through the information it had, and realized it seemed to be referring to himself, since he could see his name at the very top of it.

Ainz also noticed that, on the screen, there were many tabs, and accordingly without doing anything a message finally but slowly revealed itself.

While staring at the black panel, he wanted to see if he could touch the panel, but soon realized for some reason he couldn't move his limbs, almost as if from fatigue.

With him being unable to move, he thought of various possibilities of what might have happened after he entered the gate of death, at the same time, he couldn't help but think about his previous life now that he was gone, he wondered if it with his death the underworld had become peaceful, or if it had already been destroyed by the monarchs.

'I bet Nelfheim will surely be filled with chaos, I wonder if my realm was annihilated or spared after my demise, those guys would surely be celebrating now that I am gone.'

He felt regret and guilt in him, as he thought about the place he had spent thousands of years building and managing.

If he had known any better at that time, he could have realized the other monarchs were up to no good when they suddenly came and asked for his help, and maybe if he hadn't accepted to help them, his situation wouldn't have resulted in such.

'Well, If I could just turn the hands of time, just this once I would not ask for anything else even if it costs me my entire life.

'In the end, death for death.'

Even though he understood nothing of what was happening around him, he didn't really care nor did he bother to know for now. He only felt grieved.

Just as he lay there completely silent, he suddenly realized he was being lifted. Following that was something soft and plumpy pressing against his mouth, and then a load of liquid began to pour down inside of his mouth, as he almost choked on what flowed through his throat.

Instinctively to him, his small hands moved and held what was placed in his mouth with a tight grasp, he couldn't help but take in a continuous mouthful of this liquid, it tasted like milk but much sweeter and warm to drink, and as well he had this feeling that he was quite hungry and he couldn't stop himself from drinking none stop.

Ainz kept drinking for a while, before he shifted his eyes to the silhouette that was feeding him, it was a woman whose eyes were half-closed.

The woman had long black silk hair, spread wide on her back and green emerald eyes below her slender eyebrows.

As Ainz stared at her, he had trouble describing his feelings towards this woman in front of him, he didn't know whether to be happy or sad.

Was he going to explain to her that he wasn't really her child or that he was a monarch who had been reincarnated into her son's body? Which might have accidentally killed her child's real soul? Whatever he said, will surely result in an unexpected reaction.

Even though the milk flowing through his mouth seemed to be sweeter than anything he had ever tasted, it couldn't stop the perpetual taste of bitterness he felt within his heart.

He didn't know if coming to this world was a gift or a curse, both to him or this woman but he knew he couldn't reverse it, even if he tried.

Suddenly, everything turned into a flash of whiteness.

He looked down at himself and saw that he seemed to have been lifted up by the firm grip of a man who apparently looked to be in his early thirties with trimmed black hair together with a stern expression standing directly beside the woman on the bed.

"Is this the child you took so much effort to give birth to, to the point I even thought you were giving birth to a dragon?"

The man said sarcastically, as he abruptly grabbed him from his mother's embrace and began to have a better view of him as he raised him up.

The Cleric, who was a woman, and the other two maidservants on the side of the bed, lowered their heads at the sight of the man.

Hearing what he said, the woman wanted to angrily raise her voice at him, at the sight of the man suddenly grabbing hold of her baby like that, but she managed to hold herself back.

"Hmmm, pale and skinny, only a half-wit half-elf, he doesn't seem to possess any bloodline either, not even mine, are you sure this child belongs to me?

"Although there seems to be some kind of wit in him, but wit without any bloodline is as good as useless. Although I hate to say this, I would advise you to throw this child away. His wits might not even be fit for a guard of my main family. You really did a good job, Lilith."

His tone was cold and solemn as he said all of these while carrying Ainz, after he was done he gave the baby back to his mother and strolled towards the door exit.

With all he had just said, Lilith felt bitter at heart as she said softly.

"Andrew, he's your son. How could you even say such to your own child, even saying he might not belong to you?

"Isn't father-in-law a Wizard? If you really think the child doesn't belong to you, then let father-in-law determine the truth with magic."
