The Wyvern

Two figures gradually arrived mid-air, whom Lilith identified to be Andrew in a golden armor and an old man, with a straight combed long gray beard reaching towards his waist, for reasons even though the sky was windy his beard barely swayed along with it.

He was wearing a gray worn-out robe which had large sleeves, and his right hand held a wooden staff a few inches long.

They looked at the wyvern right in its eyes, and it did the same.

The standoff lasted for about a few seconds, before Andrew and the white robe old man briefly nodded at themselves.

He then raised his right hand and mumbled a few words under his breath, then the staff in his hand began to emit little sparks.

"You're even thinking of using a stick to fight me, how laughable…" It guffawed at the idea of the old man using a mere stick trying to content with its might, its green orbit eyes were like green lanterns trained on the figures in front of it. But all of a sudden, its voice slowly grew soft, and with a muffled grunt it disappeared.

"My strength… What's going on? You wretched worms, what have you done to mighty Galadima?" The Green Wyvern's voice was filled with bewilderment and anger.

Andrew's hands trembled and then a golden lance appeared within his grasp, as he looked at it seemingly pleased with the results of his attack.

"With the golden lance, this is just the beginning. Next I would use you to completely forge my Dragonslaying lance, but for now this lance was specifically prepared for you Green Fiery Wyvern. With its powerful toxins and curses, it is something even a mighty red dragon could do little against."

Andrew spoke slowly with confidence, as he stared at the Green fiery wyvern dead in the eyes. The cold and indifference in his eyes, made the wyvern shiver mid-air.

"Now!" Andrew yelled, suddenly the lance within his hands was being enveloped in a golden blazing brilliance.

"I will kill you, all of you bastards. For thinking of using the mighty Galadima for forgery, even if it means harming myself" The humongous wyvern's loud voice trembled, numbing the ears of everyone who heard it in the vicinity as it shook its wings vigorously.

"You won't be able to kill anyone!" The white robe 's old man voice was rather soothing as he pointed towards the wyvern figure, with the wooden staff in his hands.

'Wizard Spell - Blast of Focused Lance'

Andrew's figure was jolted backward, as he threw the golden blazing lance on his hands towards the Green wyvern. His attack combined with one of his father's spells glinted like a star in the sky as it shot toward the Green wyvern.

At that moment, scorching hot blood splattered everywhere, but was blocked from burning the castle by a purple halo emitting from the black marble wizard tower.

The green wyvern roared abruptly, it tried halting itself mid-air from falling by spreading its wings. Yet, it could barely muster enough strength to slow its descent, the moment the green wyvern was about to fall.

It rose to the sky as fast as possible again, its slightly dim eyes swiftly swept its gaze around the castles, with its eyes concealing a strange glint.

Green smoke slowly started to flow out of its belly, like an open wound.

"To think the grave of the mighty Galadima, would be in the hands of a wretched Wizard." The green wyvern's loud voice sounded muffled within the sky.

Apparently, the power of both Andrew and his father, seemed to have gravely injured the Green Wyvern as it showed no sign of resistance any longer.

The green wyvern was filled with hatred, and sadness. In its life, was one filled with adversity and constant fighting, it had fought its way up to its current level with blood and sacrifice. It didn't even have the chance to witness the birth of it.....sigh.

It raised its head, roared loudly, and then suddenly spat out a tongue of green flame, towards the castle the size of it taking the form of a meteor shower, as it shut towards the outer circle.

Its sudden attack was so abrupt it gave little time for Andrew or the White robe old man to react quickly. Lilith was frozen in fear, as she witnessed the flaming meteor streak towards her and her little child.

Meanwhile, Ainz was still too stupefied by what the system was suddenly displaying to even recognize what danger he was in.

A figure appeared mid-air between them and the flaming meteor shower, he raised a wooden staff and mumbled something, and then the flaming meteor hit something like a wall made of whiteness.

The clash between the flame and the shield lasted for a moment, before the flame meteor was slowly extinguished and the white wall crumbled into fragments.

The figure then slowly appeared visible again, as Andrew appeared behind him with a dark expression.

The old man wore a sad expression, as he looked at the wyvern corpse outside the outer castle and sighed," How resolute, it chose to sacrifice its core and blood rather than being used for refinement."

Andrew waited a bit mid-air, as he stared at the stupid beast with a heated gaze. His figure disappeared after a while, before he left he stared at Lilith and the baby who stood within the outer castle.

The old man looked at the wyvern corpse for a few seconds and slightly shook his head, and then stared at his wooden staff that was now on the verge of breaking apart, and then he vanished.

Lilith was still frozen by fear of almost losing her child, and didn't notice her tight grip on Ainz's frail body.

This pain was what made him wake up to reality after staring at the sudden message from the system, as he let out a baby cry to wake his mother up from being frozen by fear.

Lilith stared at her child, with a sorry expression as she slowly softened her grip on his frail body, after staring briefly at the now-dead wyvern she was about to go back to her castle because of the sudden event, before being halted by an aged and hoarse voice.

"Huh? Is this how a daughter-in-law greets her father-in-law?"
