We waited patiently for the wife to come after she picked up the call and promised to come.

While I moved towards the AC my eye cut with his child as I moved forward to the boy.

“Do you want to see your Dad?”. I mumbled nicely as the little boy nodded with tears running down his eyes.

“Then clean your eye, so that I can take you to your daddy”. I let out as he gently started to dry his tears with his hand. I finally used his top to clean it properly and reached out to him as he grabbed my hand.

“Stop crying”. I whispered as he began to jerk and immediately he saw his Dad he ran and hugged him tightly. I stood for a while watching the two display their father-to-son love.

I was already tired and also worried about Dan.

“Is your wife not coming?”. I asked a bit harsh.

“Maybe you should give her a call again”. He mumbled and I quickly dialled the woman's number.

“Sorry Sir, I'm close to the office, you know Lagos state and traffic, I'll soon be there, just give me a little time”.
