Epic 32

I could feel sweat dripping down Inspector John's thighs. He was obviously scared.

"Quiet!" the DPO barked, holding up a hand to silence Inspector John. "We're in the middle of something here. Let us work."

Inspector John opened his mouth to protest, but the DPO shot him a look that silenced him. I could see the anger and frustration on his face, but he remained silent as the drive continued to load.

Once the files had finished loading, the DPO turned to me. "All right," he said. "Let's take a look at what's on here."

I clicked on the first file, which opened to reveal a grainy black-and-white image of a dark alleyway. At first, it was difficult to make out anything in the footage, but then I saw two figures enter the frame. One of them was Aunty Lucy, and the other was clearly Inspector John.

"That's him!" the DPO exclaimed, pointing at the screen. "That's definitely Inspector John. And the woman is Aunty Lucy. This is exactly what we need."
