Laura's POV

Fridays are for gods and guesses, for the elites and high-toned citizens, and the working classes and bosses.

I scribbled, taking a sip of fruit juice. I think I would just let this, for now, I thought, getting up from my study chair.

Tomorrow was May's wedding, finally. She would be Mrs Grayson and a citizen of Midtown High. I couldn't stop myself from thinking about our friendship. How we started, the good days and bad days. The disappointments, successes, falls and celebrations. We had a good time and now, she is finally going home.

She sent in some photos of the event hall and I was amazed. According to her, Daniel's uncle, Mr Vincent Oscar, did everything. It was high class, exquisite and smelt rich.

I knew the Graysons would have invested a lot in the wedding. They had this uppity attitude to everything, just like Dad and Mom, so I wasn't surprised.
