Mrs Charles was surprised at her daughter's response but didn't say a word more. I walked in and placed the final plate of food on the table for the Charles family. Mr and Mrs Charles, along with Clarissa, left for work. This meant that it was just me, the butler, and the maids left in the mansion. I had to put my plans into action now. Luckily for me, I saw the room Mr and Mrs Charles came out from this morning. I looked around myself while standing in the middle of the mansion with a bucket and mop in my hands. Clarissa's ex was back in her life again and was there to stay. It took him some time to be able to get her direct phone number but he was successful and that was what mattered. [Later in the evening, At Zane Murray's mansion.]Just as Zane Murray sipped his expensive wine, his doorbell rang. [At the Charles family mansion]I feel so exhausted and at the same time, angry that I got nothing done in the end. This made no sense to me. How come nothing was incriminating in Clarissa's room despite the kind of person I knew she was? She must have dipped her hand into something illegal at some point. I walked around the maze like a mansion in search of a spot to sleep. I stopped at a wide space and decided to sleep close to a wall. Of course, I had no blanket to wrap myself in and no sheet to protect my skin from the deadly cold floor but I had no choice unless I was going to sleep on my feet.
