Contract Voided

After much contemplation, Amanda sighed, "Mom, let it go. It's come to this, just leave it be."

Ellie shouted, "No! I absolutely won't allow such a person to enter the gates of our Nixon family. If this gets out, where can I put my face?"

"Amanda, don't worry. Tomorrow, Mom will find you someone—a rich second-generation with power and influence. Anyone would be better than this useless guy!"

Amanda helplessly exclaimed, "Mom!"

Saying this, she dragged Ellie into the house.

Ellie, shouting and crying, said, "Get out! Get out!"

Amanda, now also in tears, used all her strength to pull Ellie inside. The sounds of mother and daughter crying echoed from the house.

At this point, Ken couldn't stand still. There was a flash of killing intent in his eyes, and he dialed a number on his phone.

After a brief ring, a rabbit's voice came from the other end, "Speak, what's the matter?"

Getting straight to the point, Ken said, "Three minutes, I need all the information on Nixon Group."

The rabbit, sensing the hidden hostility in Ken's tone, readily agreed.

Not even three minutes later, Ken received a message containing all the information on Nixon Group on his phone. Looking through the data, Ken furrowed his brows.

It seemed that the current situation of the Nixon Group wasn't optimistic. With threats from both sides, things were becoming interesting.

"Help me with one more thing," Ken requested.

...

Samuel Nixon smugly sat in his office, unexpectedly having so easily driven Amanda away. It was beyond his expectations.

Now, as long as he could secure the cooperation with Charles Group, his position in the Nixon family would rise even higher. Even if he became the successor to the Nixon family in the future, it wouldn't be impossible.

Worried that time was of the essence, Samuel Nixon disregarded his swollen face and immediately headed to Charles Group with the new contract in hand.

Parking his car downstairs, Samuel Nixon swaggered into Charles Group.

"Is Manager Charles available? I'm here to sign a contract!"

The receptionist politely inquired, "Hello, sir. Do you have an appointment?"

Samuel Nixon's anger flared up instantly, looking dissatisfied with the receptionist. "Tell your Manager Carl Charles that I'm Samuel Nixon, the general manager of Nixon Group. We've been in talks with Manager Charles for a long time about this project. I'm here today specifically to sign the contract."

The receptionist smiled faintly, "I'm sorry, sir. Without an appointment, Manager Charles won't see anyone."

Samuel Nixon cursed, "You, a receptionist, dare to stop me? If you delay this project, can you bear the responsibility?"

At this moment, a stern voice intervened, "Just a small project. I, Carl Charles, can handle this responsibility."

Seeing the newcomer, Samuel Nixon immediately put on a smile and said in a low voice, "Manager Carl, you're joking. Your status is beyond comparison with someone like me."

Carl Charles sneered, "Who are you? Do I know you?"

Smiling, Samuel Nixon introduced himself, "Manager Carl, I'm Samuel Nixon, the general manager of Nixon Group."

"Oh? I don't think we've met. What are you doing in Charles Group?"

Samuel Nixon quickly presented the contract, saying respectfully, "Manager Carl, this is a contract between our two companies. I've prepared it. Please take a look."

"When did I agree to sign a contract with your Nixon Group?" Carl Charles furrowed his brows.

Samuel Nixon first blanked, then said, "Manager Carl, didn't Amanda discuss it with you?"

Carl Charles coldly snorted, "Yes, Amanda and I discussed it. I'll only sign this project with her."

"Carl Charles..."

"Security, escort the guest out!"

Carl Charles, with a stern face, immediately signaled for security. Dozens of guards rushed over and surrounded Samuel Nixon.

Samuel Nixon was in a hurry. Amanda had already been fired from Nixon Group. How could he call her to sign?

"Carl Charles, Carl Charles, please reconsider! We can still negotiate the price!"

Samuel Nixon was truly anxious. If this project fell through, he would bear the blame!

Carl Charles, a bit impatient, waved to the security guards and then left without looking back.

Samuel Nixon was dragged out by the security guards, shouting loudly, "Carl Charles! Carl Charles!"

When had he, the young master of the Nixon family, ever been so frustrated? He was actually directly kicked out!

"Damn you, Amanda! No wonder you were so unbridled. It turns out you have a thing with Carl Charles! Despicable woman!"

Samuel Nixon felt extremely aggrieved, clenching the contract tightly. He hurriedly went to find Alfred Nixon.

At this moment, in the office of the Chairman of Charles Group, Carl Charles was respectfully making a call.

"Ms. Rabbit, I've done as you asked. May I know who the distinguished person is that can make you take action?"

"Don't ask what you shouldn't. He didn't invite me; I'm just doing a favor. Understand?"

"Understood, understood." Carl Charles nodded quickly.

"Carl Charles, don't disappoint us." After saying this, the call was hung up.

Carl Charles, with sweat on his forehead, knew more about the Rabbit's department than anyone else. Even though others might not know much about her, he understood clearly.

In the entire Marinopolis, the department that the Rabbit belonged to was terrifying. But she claimed to be doing a favor for someone, and that person was probably in Marinopolis now and closely related to Amanda.

Carl Charles made up his mind that no matter who Samuel Nixon brought in, he would stand firmly on Amanda's side.
