Ryan sat where he was, ignoring the obvious commotion that was going on outside because of him.

"I demand that you release him!!" Grandpa Tony yelled from the counter at the officers on duty.

"I'm sorry, we can't do that, not until he confesses."

"Confesses for a crime he never committed?"

"Until he is not proven guilty, there's nothing I can do."

"My husband would never kill anyone." Alina butts in.

"How can you be so sure? Vouching for a husband that looks like crazed man? I'm surprised you are not crazy yourself." The police snaps.

Ryan clenches his fist, glaring into nothing. Unlike other incoming inmates, old inmates never dared to talk to Ryan or pick a fight with him. The cold icy gaze was enough to send them to the corner of the cell, completely avoiding him.

He wishes Alina wouldn't care and just leave the police station. If he wanted to leave the station, he would right this minute, all he had to do was make a phone call.
