Adams drives to the dusty road to his parents deserted home in the woods.

When their parents were alive, they've been sensitive about living with other people. And that totally work to his advantage now.

He alighted his car and knocked rhythmically on the door, it was opened, like instantly like the order person on the other side has been expecting him.

"Welcome." She grumbled, staring at the nylon in his hands. "Is there any snacks in there?"

"I got us donuts." Adam announced, going to the kitchen and dropping the groceries. He took out the donut box and returns to the living room.

The moment he opened it, she snatched one from the box, biting into it blissfully. "this is heavenly!" She moaned.

Adams felt something stirred in him as he watched her ear, situations sure do change people and in her case, it changed her for the better except she's expert and faking stuffs and coming from her, he shouldn't be surprised.
