First stop, I go to the section containing spells. I find nothing regarding amnesia. Okay, let’s look at venom. My fingers scan the section, looking for books regarding poison, venom, potions. Anything. None of them contain what I’m looking for. My next stop is in regard to ferals. “Maybe for a bit of fun.” I say as I grin, his jaw dropping again when he hears the bell tone in my voice. “Careful, it’s the Siren effect of my ancestors. It’s especially effective on males. I hear him gasp as he straightens but I’m already walking away. I whistle, signaling Wilson. Not how I was planning on spending my day. Gotta love mating season. Not.The second I’m outside I see Wilson running towards me. I jump onto her and allow her to take me away as I hear my name being called behind me.Wilson takes me into the jungle while I stuff down my irrational feelings. I head to Estra. It’s a little wooden town with a library in a clear building. They serve food and drinks there while patrons can read inside and bake in the sun, or rest on the beach to read. “I never gave you my name,” I tell her as her face morphs to a slender face with ocher eyes and sea glass colored hair. She stares at me with blank eyes as her body begins to break down into dust, confirming that this is a created feral. That book wasn’t lying, and she was trying to isolate me. That can only mean one thing, and that is to run.I whistle loudly when that realization hits me. I get to my feet as a sense of impending doom starts creeping in.
