“We might want to head back then. It’s also about time for Owen to remove these stitches.” I walk over to the log that is still lit and let it die. “Also, do not tell anyone about this place. This is literally my only safe haven.”

“Understood.” Silas says with a bit of surprise. I agree with him. I can’t believe Wilson led him here. It’s almost infuriating how much she likes and trusts him.

I walk over to the curtain on the wall and move it, opening the cavern to some harsh sunlight. It’s almost midday. As I stick out my wing Silas is watching me. I can’t read his expression as I slowly disappear through the crack. The wind is harsh today as I push myself against the rocks. It’s whipping my hair wildly, and I wish I had put on a hood and pulled my hair up. Also, the sea spray is making the rocks slicker than normal due to the increased amount of wind.
