Chapter 7

Kenric was currently in a small restaurant that was quite far from the SIA company. He was sitting casually on one of the stools with a cup of coffee in front of him. For a moment, his gaze was drawn to a boy playing with his dog on the street in front of the restaurant.

"Sorry, young master, I'm late," said Alex, who had just arrived in a hurry.

"What made you late?" Kenric asked as he continued to stare at the little boy who had caught his attention.

Alex bowed his body. "It's all my fault, sir; I was leading the inspection at the port," he replied.

"Then why is it your fault?" Kenric asked casually.

Hearing this question, Alex raised his head to look at Kenric. "I'm ...." Of course, he couldn't answer Kenric's question.

A moment later, Kenric turned to Alex. "If you don't feel guilty, you don't need to apologize to me. Just explain what happened."
