CHAPTER EIGHTY

That same day, later in the evening when most of the staff at the office had locked up and cleared out their desks for the day's work. Lily peeked into Leon's office and asked him if he wasn't going home too.

"It's been a tiring day I think, shouldn't you be going home, sir?" She asked him with a smile. Leon sighed, it indeed was a tiring day for him but he hadn't been able to get much done because of his constant worry. His mind kept going back to what Oliver had said. He couldn't function in the company until he'd left his mark.

"I'm good, I should be heading home anytime soon," he replied with a smile of his own and she left the door, bidding him goodnight.

Leon rose from the swivel chair and pulled down the Venetian blinds. He could see the reflection of the moon right into the office, it was dark and the perfect time for him to have a tour of the office but he didn't want to appear like a creep to the janitor whom he was sure was still in the building.
