Leon watched as the woman's face fell in fright. What would happen to her daughter now that she had no money to offset the hospital bills?

"But...you have to help my daughter, she doesn't have much time, she needs the surgery, I beg of you, doctor," she pleaded.

The doctor sneered at her and warned her to not make a scene or he'd have the security men throw her out.

"We will need money for the surgery, ma'am, if you can't give it then you'll have to take your daughter elsewhere," the doctor said rudely.

Fiona turned to look at her cousin who still stood by the door, his hands crossed over his chest and a smirk on his face.

"Please, you can have whatever you want, but please just give me some money to save my daughter's life," Fiona begged but he didn't budge, instead of the pity she expected, he simply laughed at her.

"She was never yours, she's not part of the family and she doesn't deserve anything from me," he spat.
