CHAPTER SEVENTY FIVE

Leon turned to look at the old man and he arched a finely trimmed brow. There was no denying the fact that his enemies would get stronger and aggressive by the day and Leon needed some form of support, any kind of partnership that would help him. Xavier looked like he was always ready to do anything for him, but Leon knew that was just a man being grateful, what would happen when that gratitude wore off?

"Or do you still think Xavier will help you when everyone around him comes caving in?" Oliver asked, his eyes telling Leon all he needed to know. Xavier's decision was being frowned upon by a lot of people including his own brother and sooner or later, Leon would become the object of their hatred when they couldn't get Xavier to change his mind - which they wouldn't because he already had a copy of all the signed lands, houses, and companies that he and Xavier had both signed. There was no going back, only a fierce battle would ensue.
