CHAPTER SEVENTY SIX

Leon banged the door as they left and shoved the contract under one of the couches. He didn't need the pen to sign them, he didn't need to sign that at all, period. He was just dumping it in the trash can where it belonged.

But for a brief moment. Leon thought about what it would be like to have someone else bother about him. To have someone else take all the concern and worrying and all he had to do was see the world and heal people. Somehow, it didn't seem like such a bad idea and he pulled out the documents. He could recall how Madam Emelda had been with the cafe when he started healing. She wanted to tell when to heal, how to heal, and whom to heal. But that wasn't what his gift was for. Leon wanted to be free to heal whoever the ring directed him to without restrictions.

"Would Oliver Paul be like that too?" He wondered out loud and looked at the car. The Porsche had driven away, he looked at the contract Shaina and decided that he really needed a full tummy to sign it. As
